Midjourney for Design
Bring your vision to life
The Midjourney for Design bundle is tailored for designers who want to move beyond basic prompt play and embed Midjourney and related AI tools directly into their day-to-day project work.
Advanced Midjourney focuses on expanding the imaginative powers of architects. Participants learn advanced prompt engineering, explore parameters for fine-grained control, and study case-driven workflows that integrate Midjourney across stages—from exploratory ideation to consistent, site-aware design narratives. Attention is given to balancing surprise with constraint, ensuring that AI-generated imagery aligns with project briefs and client expectations.
AI for Interior Design: Unleashing Creativity then grounds those skills in interior practice. Through live, highly practical modules, participants learn how Midjourney, Prome AI, Krea, and Runway can compress the time from idea to visualization. The workshop walks through interior-specific workflows: building concept images, converting sketches into renderings, enhancing photographs and AI outputs, and producing short video snippets to bring spaces to life. The emphasis is on selecting the right tool for each step and communicating clearly with AI systems to avoid “lost in translation” moments.
Together, the two workshops offer a holistic perspective: conceptual breadth from the architectural side, and executional depth from the interior side, making this bundle ideal for practices that span both scales.
What you will learn:
By taking the bundle, participants will learn to:
- Use advanced Midjourney prompt techniques to target specific architectural and interior outcomes, including control over style, context, and composition.
- Integrate Midjourney into a broader design workflow—from initial concept, through iteration, to final design intent and presentations.
- Construct effective prompts and parameter sets tailored to interior design tasks such as materials, furniture layouts, and lighting moods.
- Transform sketches, plans, and draft images into richer renderings using tools like Prome AI and complementary AI render solutions.
- Enhance AI-generated or photographic imagery using Krea for refinement, adjustments, and scene enhancement.
- Produce simple AI-driven video clips with Runway to convey atmosphere, narrative sequences, or dynamic spatial ideas.
- Develop collaborative workflows where teams use Midjourney outputs as shared references for design discussions and client feedback.
- Reflect on ethical and strategic considerations of integrating AI into design practice, particularly in client-facing work.

Architect & Strategic Leader in BIM, Digital Twins, and AI, with international experiences in Italy, Japan, and Denmark. Instrumental in driving digital strategies for industry leaders like Schmidt Hammer Lassen, Perkins & Will, and Mario Cucinella Architects, bridging the gap between technology and design.
He is deeply interested in the intersection between design, digital technology, and entrepreneurship as an opportunity to foster equality, sustainability, and future-ready thinking. Since 2017, he has been immersed in Computational Design and BIM, particularly in data-driven design workflows within a strategic framework.

Mariana Grunschy
Mariana is a Brazilian architect, multidisciplinary creative director, AI enthusiast, and entrepreneur with nearly 20 years of experience. Her background in graphic design and architecture, including studies at FAUP in Portugal, has provided her with a solid foundation. However, it was her curiosity and immense desire to create new things—enhanced by her giftedness and hyperfocus—that truly shaped her career.
In 2012, she founded Soma Creative Studio, where she primarily develops architectural projects for spaces and immersive experiences that reflect the narrative of the brands that hire her. She also oversees the creative direction of archviz, aiming for realistic and visually impactful design.
The interconnected roles she performs led her, in 2022, to become interested in the Metaverse and subsequently in Generative Artificial Intelligence. It wasn't the technology itself that intrigued her, but the infinite possibilities of connecting AI with architecture and design: more creative images, faster renderings, more precise projects, and AI assistants for office management.
Thus, in early 2024, she decided to share her knowledge and founded her startup, ARQUI.IA, where she pioneers in teaching AI to architects and interior designers. She believes in the transformative power of AI for faster, more creative, and consequently more profitable projects. AI will not replace the architect, but the architect who uses AI will.
