Our STORY
In late 2022 Riccardo Piazzai and Tiago Pereira, two professionals with a wealth of experience in design leadership and digital technology, embarked on an entrepreneurial venture.
Recognizing the potential of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics, immersive realities, and blockchain to transform the creative industries, they envisioned a future where Generative AI plays a central role in reshaping the design process. After a year of extensive applied research, they founded NORDFY, a Performance Design Agency specialized in leveraging AI and BIM/Digital Twins within an Emergent Design Model that blends human intuition with artificial intelligence.
Addressing the challenge that small and medium-sized firms face in adapting to the rapid technological advancements and considering that the profession is becoming increasingly specialized, we aim to work alongside our clients as an external Digital Team, enabling companies to stay competitive and future-ready without the need for extensive resources.
NORDFY is working to innovate traditional design methods and preparing the AEC industry for a future dominated by technological advancements.

Architect & Strategic Leader in BIM, Digital Twins, and AI, with international experiences in Italy, Japan, and Denmark. Instrumental in driving digital strategies for industry leaders like Schmidt Hammer Lassen, Perkins & Will, and Mario Cucinella Architects, bridging the gap between technology and design.
He is deeply interested in the intersection between design, digital technology, and entrepreneurship as an opportunity to foster equality, sustainability, and future-ready thinking. Since 2017, he has been immersed in Computational Design and BIM, particularly in data-driven design workflows within a strategic framework.
